You may know how emotionally wrenching the time can be when your family has needed hospice or end-of-life care. Likely, you also know the unique pain of losing a loved one. It’s with these times in mind that Horizon opened a Grief Resource Center – to provide help and guidance beyond the support received from family and friends. It is Wisconsin’s only walk-in center dedicated to grief, bereavement and healing. Located in Milwaukee, it serves as a safe haven for individuals and families who’ve suffered a significant loss – including the death of a loved one, a beloved pet, a job, or another life-changing circumstance. In addition, the center is a resource center for physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy, teachers, veterinarians and other professionals who desire more information on grief and healing.
