The 2008 Matters of the Heart gala has been scheduled for Saturday, February 16, 2008, returning the The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. The cocktail hour and silent auction will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Sue Ann Thompson will be honored with the Touching Lives Award for her continued dedication and service to women’s health through the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation. The criteria for this honor include, innovation, length of service and community commitment. 

For our out-of-town guests, The Pfister has made available a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $154 per night. To make reservations, please call 1-800-558-8222 and reference "Horizon Home Care & Hospice" when requesting a room.

Tickets for the 2008 gala are $155 per person. Sponsorships are available:  

Touching Lives Sponsorship - $25,000

The Touching Lives Sponsor will receive:

• Naming opportunity for the Touching Lives award – one time opportunity
• The opportunity annually for an individual of your choosing to present the award
• Primary sponsorship of the 2008 event with acknowledgement in the invitation and all media releases
• Verbal recognition by Mary Haynor , HHCH President during the 2008 event
• Signage recognizing your participation on all tables, in the program and on posters in the foyer at the 2008 event
• Recognition on Horizon’s website prior to and following the event (including logo)  
• One preferred seating table at the 2008 event (accommodating ten guests) and two complimentary tickets every year thereafter  

Platinum Sponsorship - $15,000-$24,999

Platinum Sponsors will receive:

• Signage recognizing your participation at the gala (on your table and in the foyer)  
• Acknowledgement in the invitation as well as in the program the night of the event
• Listing as “Event Sponsor” in all advertising for the Gala
• Verbal recognition by Mary Haynor , HHCH President during the event
• Recognition on Horizon’s website prior to and following the event (including logo)  
• Two preferred seating tables at the Gala (accommodating ten guests each)

Gold Sponsorship - $7,500-$14,999

Gold Sponsors will receive:

• Signage recognizing your participation at the gala (on your table and in the foyer)  
• Recognition for underwriting a specific portion of the event (ie: music, entertainment, dinner courses, wine, parting gift, signature Matters of the Heart cocktail, valet, etc.)  
• Acknowledgement in printed program for evening (company logo)
• Recognition on Horizon’s website prior to and following the event (including logo)  
• One preferred seating table at the Gala (accommodating ten guests)  

Silver Sponsorship - $2,000-$7,499

Silver Sponsors will receive:

• Signage recognizing your participation at the gala (on your table and in the foyer)
